Buckeye Furnace Historic Site
Buckeye Furnace Historic Site
is also a Nature Preserve
Welcome to Buckeye Furnace Historic Site and State Park! There is a lot to see here! Historically rebuilt buildings that once were crucial to making pig iron in the mid-1800s, and a museum and gift shop that is filled with things from that time and locally crafted goods to purchase.
A self-guided tour with information plaques describing what life was like working at not only Buckeye Furnace, but other furnaces in the state. This is a great place to bring school classes for a guided tour.
